Observed collection. Practical testing options.
Laboratory-based oral fluid drug testing for workplace and other testing programs, with professional specimen collection and guidance on the right option for your needs.
OUR SERVICES
A different approach to specimen collection
Observed specimen collection
An oral fluid specimen is collected from the mouth using an approved collection device while the collector observes the process.
Workplace testing programs
Ask about laboratory testing panels and whether oral fluid fits your employer’s non-DOT program, written policy, and testing purpose.
Clinic or arranged on-site collections
Contact Carolina Testing to confirm service availability, collection location, and scheduling requirements before your visit.
BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE
Confirm the program before scheduling
Tell us who is requesting the test, the testing purpose, and any required panel or paperwork. Follow the collector’s preparation instructions and bring the identification and authorization requested when scheduling. Turnaround time depends on the laboratory, panel, and any additional review.
DOT-regulated testing has separate requirements. Do not assume a non-DOT oral fluid test satisfies a DOT testing obligation. Confirm current authorization and laboratory availability with our team and review the DOT oral fluid laboratory information. Detection periods vary; oral fluid results do not by themselves establish impairment.
