drug testing

Drug testing services are available through a wide range of specimens including urine, hair follicle, fingernails and/or saliva. We use only SAMSHA  approved laboratories for our drug testing services and include a complete review of all results by a licensed physician known as a Medical Review Officer (MRO) for no additional fee. Drug tests are available in a variety of panels including 5, 10 or custom panels to meet the client’s individual needs. DOT drug test specimens are collected by DOT certified collectors.  Specialty tests like our ChildGuard exposure drug test as well as many other custom tests are available.  If you have specific drugs or substances of concern, please contact us for professional guidance and solutions to meet your needs.

urine

Detection window: 2-3 days*

Urine drug testing is the most common form of testing and offers the largest number of testing panels and flexibility for customized testing.  Instant or rapid testing provides negative results within 15 minutes. Laboratory based testing typically reports negative results in 24-48 hours.

*frequent marijuana use can be detected up to 30 days or more

SALIVA

Detection window: 1-3 days

Saliva drug testing is the only specimen type that is able to detect current impairment of a user as well as 1 to 3 days of use depending on the drug.  Panels for saliva testing are limited to 6 or 9 panel tests. Due to inconsistent quality of available instant testing devices, we do not offer or recommend instant or rapid saliva testing. All saliva testing is sent to our laboratory with negative results reported within 24-48 hours.

HAIR

Detection window: up to 90 days*

Hair follicle testing offers standard 5 and 10 panel tests in addition to a wide range of custom panel up to 17 panels or more depending on the client’s specific needs.  All hair follicle tests are sent to our laboratory for testing. Depending on the panels and drugs being tested, results are typically returned within 2-7 business days.  ChildGuard  Exposure testing is also available to determine if a child has been exposed to drug use in their environment.

*hair specimens collected from the body and not the head may detect usage from 90 days to 6 months

NAIL

Detection window: up to 6 months

Nail specimens may include fingernails or toenails and are available in standard 5 and 10 panels up to 17 panels or more depending on the client’s specific needs.  All fingernail specimens are sent to our laboratory for testing.  Results for nail testing typically come back within 3-5 business days.
